Stephanie Weymouth was riding in the 2019 Nissan passenger car that struck the back of a parked tractor trailer on Route 185 and Linden Avenue around 12:20 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 3, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
Weymouth was pronounced dead just after 1 a.m. while the 28-year-old Staten Island driver and a 27-year-old Old Bridge passenger were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Jersey City Medical Center, Suarez said.
The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Jersey City Police Department are investigating. No arrests were made as of press time.
